FEATURES OF MEDIEVIL RESURRECTION PSP
A review of MediEvil: Resurrection is in order. MediEvil is a 2005 gothic action-adventure game developed by SCE Cambridge Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. While MediEvil has not aged well, the game tries to remedy that. Despite its high expectations, it does not meet them. Despite these issues, this review is still worth reading.
MEDIEVIL RESURRECTION GAMEPLAY
In terms of visuals, MediEvil Resurrection isn’t a great success. While the graphics are more refined than the PSOne version, they are still bland, lacking the passion for hack-and-slash games. The PlayStation Portable has more powerful graphics, making this game more enjoyable than its predecessor. Unfortunately, this game isn’t your go-to for a night of gaming.
The camera system in the game is not very responsive, which can cause you to die quite often, especially in tight areas. In addition, it’s hard to give visual design attention in this PSOne game, as enemies swarm you from all directions. This means you must move a lot to see enemies in every direction. However, the camera can be adjusted by pressing the R button.
The game’s combat is dated and simplistic, with little room for creativity. Its melee combat is unbalanced, and the developers purposely made Sir Daniel clumsy. Instead, players should focus on observing the enemy and attacking the first time they spot an opening. After securing the initiative, players should retreat. Most enemies in the game are a group of ghouls, and a swipe from Sir Daniel is often a cheap hit.
EVIL SCORER ZAROK
MediEvil is an action-packed game for PlayStation 4. This remake of the classic series blends old-school gameplay with gorgeous 4K visuals. Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC developed the game. Players take on the role of fabled knight Sir Daniel Fortesque, who was the first to fall during the war against Zarok. Unbeknownst to him, Zarok returns to his realm with his army of the dead.
